Privacy

This policy describes local storage, connected services, and the choices available in the app.

Documents and local storage

Treo reads and edits files you open and stores settings, recent-file information, file-access bookmarks, and diagnostic logs locally. Files may be stored by the Files provider you choose, including cloud providers; edits and sharing follow that provider or destination’s handling. Remote images and opened links contact their hosts, which receive normal connection information.

Optional Syncthing connections

Syncthing is off by default. When enabled and connected, Treo exchanges device identity, connection information, shared-folder and file metadata, and file contents with configured peers. Optional local discovery broadcasts device identity and addresses on the local network. Optional global discovery contacts Syncthing discovery servers with device IDs and connection addresses. Optional relay connections contact Syncthing relay services. Device identity private keys are stored in the iOS Keychain.

Diagnostics and deletion

Treo has no integrated advertising or analytics SDK. Local logs may contain filenames, paths, device IDs, peer addresses, and diagnostic details; Export Logs shares them to the destination you choose. Clear Recent Files removes the list, not the original documents. Removing the app does not remove documents or copies held by file providers, peers, export destinations, or backups.
